27 areas in Preston and South Ribble record fewer than three coronavirus cases in the seven days up to 5 May

A total of 27 areas in Preston and South Ribble have recorder fewer than 3 Covid cases in the week leading up to 5 May.

These areas include Fulwood, Walton-le-Dale and Lostock Hall amongst others.

Figures are updated weekly by Public Health England in the government’s coronavirus dashboard, with an interactive map of cases.

Preston’s current Covid case rate per 100,000 over that last seven days is 34.9, a decrease from previous data.

England’s rate stands at 21.5, a decrease from previous data.
