A new bakery is set to open within the next month on Garstang Road in Fulwood.

Baker St Cakes is described to be a Parisian inspired boutique cafe offering fine, handmade cakes and patisseries. 

Baker St Cakes, originally founded six-years-ago in Leicester, have a high social media audience. They showcase their bakes to over 20K followers on Instagram and say this is what steered them to open shop in Preston as they analysed where their following was based.

Arif Master from Baker St Cakes said: “Over the years we have always valued and are proud of our social media followers. Its given us an insight as to where our followers are from and will help us bring our amazing treats to their town or city.

“Preston is an amazing place and we are excited to be in the Fulwood area.”

The multiple award winning business, have been prized with 3 gold stars in the Great Taste Awards 2019 for their macaron creation and business of the year in 2019. Their menu consists of a selection of handmade macarons, cupcakes, layered cakes, choux buns, tarts and other patisserie items.

The bakery told Blog Preston: “We have been featured in many places like BBC Radio, Sainsburys Cake Magazine and been runners up in the Observer food monthly awards.

“The boutique patisserie is known for its elegant, bright and creative selection of freshly baked sweet treats and beautifully detailed cakes.”
