Lancashire Police kept busy with almost 300 Covid-19 incidents on Saturday alone

Lancashire Police were kept busy dealing with 281 Covid-19 incidents on Saturday (27 February).

DCC Terry Woods, Lancashire Deputy Chief Constable, revealed on Twitter that it’s one of the highest rates recorded in a 24-hour period since restrictions began.

In his tweet, DCC Woods urged the county to continue to follow the rules, saying ‘let’s keep doing it for Lancashire’.

We’re all looking forward to releasing lockdown.But to pass each stage we all need to keep our discipline & abide by the guidance. Incidents included house parties, a gym being open, and a car full of unrelated people sniffing gas.
