Lancashire Police kept busy with almost 300 Covid-19 incidents on Saturday alone

Lancashire Police were kept busy dealing with 281 Covid-19 incidents on Saturday (27 February).

DCC Terry Woods, Lancashire Deputy Chief Constable, revealed on Twitter that it’s one of the highest rates recorded in a 24-hour period since restrictions began.

In his tweet, DCC Woods urged the county to continue to follow the rules, saying ‘let’s keep doing it for Lancashire’.

Incidents included house parties, a gym being open, and a car full of unrelated people sniffing gas.
