Farington Moss man wanted in connection with assault

Police are appealing for help to find a Farington Moss man wanted in connection with assault and recall to prison.

The public have been warned not to approach Adam Bhamji, 38, who is also know as Adam Birch or Birchy.

He is described as being 5ft 9in tall, and of large, muscular build with short, black hair, brown eyes and tribal tattoos.

Bhamji, of Morley Croft, has links to Preston, Bamber Bridge, Chorley and Freckleton.

A spokesperson for Lancashire Police said: “Police are advising people not to approach him.

“If you do know where he is, provide a description of his clothing and location.”
