A road closure from the junction with Halfpenny Lane to the junction with Church Road in Longridge is said to be reopen for the duration of the Easter Weekend.

A spokesman for Lancashire County Council said: “We’re carrying out patching repairs on Cumeragh Lane to prepare for the road to be surface dressed in the coming weeks.
This will seal the surface, protecting it from moisture, and help to prevent potholes appearing in the future.”
The closure will be in place from 9.00am to 3.30am from Tuesday 30 March to Thursday 1 April and from Tuesday 6 April to Thursday 8 April.

Lancashire County Council said: “We’re avoiding peak times to minimise disruption as much as we can.
“We’re sorry for any inconvenience while we carry out this essential work, and are grateful for people’s patience.”

A diversion will be signed via Whittingham Road, Longsands Lane, Andertons Way, Eastway, Garstang Road, James Towers Way and Whittingham Lane to alert motorists.
