Police have issued a reminder to homeowners and drivers in Preston to secure their homes and vehicles.
AdvertisementReports of a bike being stolen from a garden shed in Holme Slack, Deepdale, came at 5am on Saturday (May 30).
Preston Police say they ‘flooded the area with patrols’ and while searching their discovered items scattered on a footpath which had been taken from an unsecured vehicle.
A police spokesman said: “We would always advise to keep your vehicle locked, even if you’ve parked it on your drive; the same applies to sheds and & other outbuildings.”
Police are appealing for anyone in the Holme Slack Lane, Ronaldsway or Ramsey Avenue are who has CCTV or a Smart doorbell system for any recordings they have of any activity during the early hours of Saturday morning.
