Stephen Gerghty spotted the banner and plane shortly after 1pm on Sunday April 19 in Ribbleton as he went along Blackpool Road.

Sarah Lou Pilkington managed to snap a picture of the banner which had a message for Prime Minister Boris Johnson.

The banner read: “BORIS EU WILL SCREW YOU – FACT! – ROGER”
