A military helicopter was spotted snapping pictures over Preston.
City residents on lockdown looked to the skies while out in their gardens to see a Royal Navy Wildcat in the skies.
Jason Taylor spotted the helicopter just before 3pm on Monday April 6 in Fulwood.
The aircraft enthusiast told Blog Preston: “It had just visited Fulwood Barracks to drop something off and then I saw it head off down towards the M62 and towards Bradford where it’s based at RAF Leeming.”

Mr Taylor, who lives in Fulwood, used the ADS-B Exchange website to track the helicopter’s path.
He said: “The website uses data from all over the world to track aircraft movements and tells you where it is and where it’s been.”
