Popular soul singer Stephen Bayliss is set to perform in Preston city centre in aid of five local charities.
Stephen, who has a street named after him in Ribbleton, has been entertaining audiences for over 30 years.
During this time he has also supported many charities, including being a patron of Baby Beat and The Space Centre, and performing for Rock FM’s Cash for Kids to help raise thousands of pounds for disadvantaged children across Lancashire.
Stephen’s upcoming performance at Riva Showbar in April will be dedicated to Baby Beat, The Space Centre, Stroke Association North West, St. Catherine’s Hospice and Cash for Kids.
The line-up for the evening includes Eric Jones (The Singing Postman), comedian Lennie Anderson, guitarist Leigh Duxbury and My Stage Company Dancers. Former radio presenter Danny Bee will host the evening and will be DJing until 1am.

Event organiser Clare Traynor said: “Stephen has a gift for making a good night into a fantastic night and once seen he is never forgotten. The people of Preston know how talented he is, but may not know how big his heart is.
“Recently the lives of some of Stephen’s close friends have been affected by stroke and cancer and Stephen wanted to help the charities which make such a difference to the lives of the people they support.
“For one night only you can join Stephen and friends, knowing that you will not only have a wonderful evening but will be helping to support five amazing charities who provide a lifeline to so many in Preston and surrounding areas.”
An Evening with Stephen Bayliss and Friends will take place on Friday 3 April at Riva Showbar in Tithebarn Street. Tickets are available from Skiddle.
