Watch as heavy rain causes flooding along Preston Guild Wheel

Heavy rain has caused flooding at various points along the Guild Wheel, including at Haslam Park, Savick Brook and the River Ribble.

Lisa Brown was out on the Guild Wheel today to see the extent of the flooding.

The Met Office has a yellow weather warning in place that covers Preston until 5pm today (Sunday 29 September).

Earlier today the City of Preston 10k was cancelled due to ‘ankle deep’ floodwater.
