The RSPCA open day on Sunday has changed venue after a dog at the shelter has become unwell.

The shelter in Longridge Road has temporarily closed on the advice of a senior vet, to prevent the spread of infectious illness.

RSPCA Preston Summer Fair will still be held this coming Sunday, 14th July 11am to 3pm, but the venue will now be at Moor Nook Primary School, Ribbleton Hall Drive, Preston PR2 6EE.

Dogs are welcome so please come along and enter our fun dog show.

A spokesperson said “We will have a fun packed day with a bouncy castle, tombola, and lots of stalls and entertainment.

“A huge thank you to Moor Nook Primary for all of their support in providing the use of their school grounds at such short notice!”
