A BBQ kitchen is due to open up within a Preston pub.

Smokin V’s Real Barbecue has partnered with Ships and Giggles to open.

Brothers Dave and Dan Valentine have been running the BBQ joint at events and food festivals over the last two years.

The Valentine’s have now decided to take on a permanent base and are taking on the kitchen at the Ships and Giggles in Fylde Road.

Dave said: “We smoke all our barbecue fresh everyday on traditional offset outdoor smokers for onwards of 13 hours, with the only fuel source being fire for that authentic barbecue taste.”

The pair source their meat locally with the help of Tom Wood, an artisan butcher based in Blackburn.
