New thunderstorms warning issued for Preston and Lancashire

A new thunderstorm warning has been issued by the Met Office.

Both Monday (24 June) and Tuesday (25 June) have a yellow weather warning in force for heavy rain.

Disruption to travel is being forecast due to the weather.

The Met Office already has a warning in force from 3pm on Sunday for thunderstorms, and this has now been extended through until Tuesday evening.

Motorists are being warned of difficult driving conditions.
