A Preston pub which is a haven for ale drinkers has been named as the city’s Pub of the Year.
Voted on by members of the Campaign for Real Ale the Moorbrook in North Road picked up the prize.
Landlord Richard Fisher-Godwin is preparing to officially receive the award during Thursday (25 April) from members of CAMRA in Central Lancashire.
Mr Fisher-Godwin said: “Really pleased to have been voted pub of the year by our local camra branch members.
“It feels like it has been a long time in the making but finally after five years of a strong commitment to bringing some of the best real ales to Preston we have now have the pleasure of receiving this prestigious award.”

The Moorbrook has established a strong reputation for real ale and also its woodfired pizzas.
Richard and team will be formally presented with the Pub of the Year Award during Thursday evening.
