A former pub which has become a target for arsonists look set to be brought back into use.
Plans have been lodged to convert what was The Old England pub into an educational centre.
The current building would be demolished and a new three-storey building put up in its place.
The premises in Ribbleton Lane, near the West View Leisure Centre, have seen firefighters called a number of times due to arson attempts.
It has also become a hot-spot for anti-social behaviour and vandalism.
Owner Mr S Umar has lodged the proposals for Preston City Council.
The educational centre would be open from 8am to 10pm seven-days-a-week. No details are given about the use of the educational centre.
You can see the proposals on the Preston City Council website.
