A takeaway in Preston city centre has been raided by immigration officers.

The Home Office sent a van and an unmarked car to Pepes in Church Street.

During Friday (1 March) eight immigration officers went into the takeaway.

The raid took place around 7.45pm.

It is not known at this stage whether any arrests have been made.
