Woman robbed in Deepdale side street

Police are searching for a man after a woman was robbed near Moor Park in the early hours of Wednesday (2 January) morning.

The woman was in St Thomas Road, Deepdale, at around 2am.

She was approached by a man wearing a mint green long sleeve jumper, blue body warmer with a diamond pattern, blue tracksuit pants and a blue beanie hat.

He showed the woman his phone asking her where a postcode was before ripping a gold chain from her neck and making off towards Deepdale Road.

The man is described as 5’10”, white, pale complexion and spoke with an Eastern European accent.
