Three months of roadworks are set to begin along one of Fulwood’s busiest routes.
Eastway is to see roadworks from the junction with Oliver’s place down to where it meets Pittman Way.
Lancashire County Council has signs up advising drivers of work which begins from Monday (7 January).
The work is to widen a section of Eastway through Fulwood and put in a toucan and puffin crossing.
Additional street lighting is also being put in, close to where the Aldi supermarket is being constructed at the corner with Oliver’s Place.
