The final day for a pub which was once a favourite of football fans has been reached.
Demolition teams started to claw through the Sumners pub building in Watling Street Road.
Previously a much-visited pub before a game at Deepdale the pub had waned in popularity.
Pub chain Greene King put the pub on the market and it has been sold to an unknown owner who has decided to flatten it.

PWA Planning put in a demolition notice in August stating it would be knocked down during the Autumn.
No planning applications have yet been lodged for what will replace the pub on the site.
