The starters flag is waving ready for the opening of a £1.5million go kart track in Bamber Bridge.
Team Sport’s indoor karting centre is opening to the public after six months of building work.
Based at Walton Summit Centre the 800metre circuit has three different tracks to try out.
Managing director of TeamSport Karting Dominic Gaynor said: “We’re delighted to be opening our latest centre in Bamber Bridge, it’s a great location and is easy to access from both the City and surrounding motorways. The new team are really looking forward to welcoming race goers to the track.
“We’ve a range of race events that caters for everyone, so whether you’re a karting newbie or promising F1 superstar there’s a race format perfect for you. We’ve also just launched our new Cadet Academy which offers tuition for kids aged 8-16 years to help develop them into advanced racers.”

Around 40 new jobs have been created by the new centre in Brierley Road, Walton Summit.
The karting track is going to open on Saturday 16 June.

Throughout the first six weeks of opening there’s a discounted rate for karting, with some sessions being £25. Visit the TeamSport website for details.
