Permission has been granted for a new £1.2 million go-kart track in Preston.
The track, which will open at Walton Summit in Bamber Bridge, will create 40 new jobs.
The track will be opened by TeamSport, who have 23 other go-kart courses across the UK.
Dominic Gaynor, Managing Director of TeamSport Karting said; “We’re delighted to have received permission to open and are looking forward to welcoming residents and visitors to the track.

There will be two multilevel tracks across three floors at the complex, racing for up to 20 drivers at any one time and free parking for customers.
The site will be at Brierley Road at Walton Summit, Bamber Bridge.
