A Preston pub is gearing up to welcome Bank Holiday drinkers for its first ale, cider and gin festival.

The Sir Tom Finney in Central Drive, Penwortham, is running the event.

New ales not usually stocked by the pub are being pulled along with ciders and a selection of gins from around the globe.

The festival begins on Friday 4 May and runs until Monday 7 May.

Alongside the ale there’s plenty to keep the kids entertained with a bouncy castle, face painting, fun fair rides and an assault course on the Saturday (5 May) for the fmily fun day.

Food is being served throughout the festival.

On Sunday (6 May) live music is coming from Gary Gibson as John Lennon from 8pm.

The event is free to attend and you can keep up to date on the Facebook group.
