A teenage girl has been left ‘traumatised’ following an apparent unprovoked attack in Fulwood.
Friends of the family are offering a £5,000 reward if information is given leading to the arrest and conviction of the man responsible.
The 14-year-old got off the bus in Sharoe Green Lane near Sharoe Green Library shortly after 4pm on Friday (2 March).
She was heading towards her grandmothers when a man approached her.
The girl was punched in the face, knocking her unconscious and fracturing her cheekbone.
According to a friend of the family the man is described as white, stocky, bald and in his 40s. He may have been wearing a coat with a fur-trimmed hood.
