Preston finds itself in the middle of a spell of superb weather.
The Met Office is forecasting warm temperatures through until at least Wednesday.
Temperatures reached 25 degrees around lunchtime on Saturday and it’s expected to see peak temperatures remain at this level through until Wednesday (21 June).
It’s certainly al-fresco eating weather as the sun stays out well into the evening on Saturday with sunset at 9.44pm and temperatures staying at around 14 degrees overnight.
Sunday (18 June) is another fine day dawning bright and sunny and due to be unbroken sunshine through the day with a high of 24 degrees in mid-afternoon.
As we go back to work on Monday the weather continues to be good with the best of the temperatures in the late afternoon – it will be 25 degrees from 1pm through to 5pm.

Tuesday (20 June) follows the same pattern with consistent sunshine throughout the day and highs of 25 degrees.
Wednesday (21 June) sees more overcast conditions although humidity is increasing and temperatures remain at 25 degrees.
