Preston’s leisure centres are now being operated by a new company – as the transfer from Preston City Council is complete.
Fulwood and West View Leisure Centres are part of the Better leisure group part of Greenwich Leisure Limited.
The social enterprise has taken on the buildings and operation of sport and leisure centres from the city council in a multi-million pound deal.
Terms of the deal include hundreds of thousands of pounds being invested into improving facilities at the leisure centres in the next year or two.
