It was only recently reinforced but Fishergate bollard has gone rolling once more.

Original Fishergate bollard met its latest match as a driver knocked it over.

The bollard’s cousin – further down towards the railway station – was sent tumbling earlier in May and the bollard’s Twitter account was boasting of how it is now more stable.

But clearly a driver thought different and the bollard was dislodged.

Mark Ormerod tweeted pictures of the bollard MIA during Monday (15 May) lunchtime.

The bollard was installed as part of the £3.4million revamp of Fishergate and the surrounding road layout.
