Preston has been basking in wall-to-wall sunshine since Friday – but how long will it last?
Spring has certainly sprung in the city and surrounding area with temperatures of up to 16 degrees being recorded.
Sunday continues to remain sunny although some clouds will appear later on, temperatures will drop to 5 degrees overnight, according to the Met Office.
Monday (27 March) sees the settled weather continuing with sunshine throughout the day and temperatures of 13 degrees at their peak.
Tuesday (28 March) starts settled and overcast before some sunshine and showers throughout the late afternoon and early evening. Temperatures remain at 13 degrees.
Wednesday sees the gloom return with a cloudy start before the rain arrives at lunchtime. Around 4pm it will clear with sunshine and showers before the rain returns overnight. Temperatures are holding at 14 degrees though.

As we move into the back end of the week, showers clear on Thursday for sunshine and Friday looks good with some sunshine and temperatures at 13 degrees. Saturday (1 April) sees some sunshine and showers but turning cooler with temperatures of 11 degrees at best.
