A key rural road between Fulwood and Longridge is to close this weekend.

Haighton Green Lane is shut near to Wayside Cottage so BT can carry out ‘pole testing’.

The closure is listed for Saturday (8 March).

For those who use Brabiner Lane that section of Haighton Green Lane into Whittingham Lane at Grimsargh remains open.

But it means there’s no access from the D’urton Lane side in either direction.

Diversions are via Cumeragh Lane or Longridge Road to Bluebell Way.
