M6 delays and Tickled Trout junction chaos as lorry blocks road

There are delays building on the M6 northbound and around the Tickled Trout junction at Samlesbury.
A SPAR lorry has also blocked the dual carriageway heading in and out of Preston the A59.
Traffic England is showing congestion back from Junction 31 northbound on the M6 and also affecting southbound too.

The northbound slip road onto the M6 at Junction 31 is also closed.
The delays have been building since around 4.15pm on Monday (25 November).
A police spokesperson said: “There is a wagon blocking a lane of Preston New Road which is causing traffic issues but recovery is due on the scene shortly.”
