A takeaway in Preston wants to open earlier in the day so it can specialise in serving Asian breakfasts.
The planned venture, on Plungington Road in Plungington, was first given the green light back in 2020, when Preston City Council approved the conversion of the premises.
That permission came with a stipulation that it could operate only between 5pm and midnight, but the business has now asked the authority to allow it to open its doors at 9am and close at 11pm.

A statement submitted with the fresh proposal says the applicant is seeking to “change our trading times to suit the product we are selling”.
It adds: “Our business relies on morning trade as the main source of income, as we intend on serving Asian breakfast and tea and snacks throughout the day.
“This would have no impact on existing business, neighbours, competitors or traffic as the business is located within [an] existing retail area vibrant with business from early hours of the morning till late at night.”
In a consultation response, town hall environmental health officers made no comment or objection to the proposed extension of hours.
The application form shows the business sought advice from the city council before making the requested change to the conditions attached to the original permission.
