Inspector Scott said: “Community policing and working with partners to tackle the issues that matter to the people of Chorley and South Ribble is really important to me.
“I’m really proud of the team that we have here and I’m looking forward to working with them to look at how we can prevent crime through things like diversionary activities and continue to make Chorley and South Ribble great places to live, work and visit.”
He began his policing career in 2001 as an immediate response officer with the Metropolitan Police.
