M6 junction 32 two lanes remain shut after multi-car crash

Two lanes are shut on the M6 southbound due to a crash involving at least three vehicles.

National Highways North West say there are delays of at least half-an-hour due to the crash between Junction 32 and Junction 31.

The crash took place shortly before 7pm on Sunday (23 June).

There are delays building on the M55 eastbound back to Junction 3 (Kirkham) and back to Junction 33 (Garstang) on the M6.

Emergency services – the North West Ambulance Service, Lancashire Police and Lancashire Fire and Rescue Service – have been pictured at the scene.

There’s disruption expected until around 11.30pm on Sunday evening.
