A former solicitors offices in Preston city centre has been converted into high-end apartments.
Branco Capital say they have spent close to £1million refurbishing the Chapel Street premises, just off Winckley Square, into 14 apartments.
With nine one-bedroom flats and five two-bedroom flats, the brothers behind the scheme say they are confident ‘the location is right’ for what they say is a ‘statement’ building.

Now branded as Park Place, the building at 7-8 Chapel Street, has seen major renovation work. It was previously home to law firm Brabners who left the building in 2021.
Ben Senior, 30, is one half of Branco Capital and is based in Manchester.
He told Blog Preston: “Our thing is to take unloved buildings which have some character and potential and bring them into a new use which we feel Park Place ticks all the boxes for.
“We take a lot of care over our conversions of these buildings, often they’ve been pretty run down buildings or empty for a while or often like this one a previous office but it’s been a while since someone was in them.
“Nothing is straightforward with these conversions but we’re really pleased with how this apartment complex is coming together and as well as the actual apartments the demand from people these days, especially with some element of work from home, is to have other spaces too.
“So within the building we’ve got a library, a co-working space and a yoga room. It’s not your standard apartment complex to just put in as many bedrooms as possible.”
Mr Senior, who co-runs the firm with his older brother Joshua (aged 33), said the pair were confident in the city’s ability to host these kind of high end apartments.
He said: “Winckley Square itself is such a great location. We think as more and more investment goes in and you see more conversions to apartments around the Square then it has the potential to become a Spinningfields and Deansgate type of place, but with that Georgian character running through everything.
“Preston’s got a good location, good links and a lot going for it and that’s why we’ve been investing and will continue to invest further.”

Mr Senior said they have further projects in and around the Winckley Square area with Park Place having given them the confidence to explore more opportunities in the city.
