A new Loom Loft store and accompanying bistro is set to open in spring 2024 at Preston Docks next to the new Aldi.
The new shop will be the fourth of its type which will also include a bistro and reportedly be the largest to date.
The new shop will be located at a 23,000 square feet premises at Preston Docklands and will
create 40 full and part time jobs.

Loom Loft is a privately funded Lancashire family-owned business and first opened a Clitheroe store and The Loft Bistro in August 2019.
A second store opened at The Mill Batley, West Yorkshire, in 2021 and a third at Astley Bridge, Bolton in August 2023. The new location set at Trident Park, Preston Docklands will be next to the new Aldi store which opens at the end of April.
Boyd and Rachel Hargreaves, the founders of the business, said in a joint statement: “We have been reviewing a number of sites in the last 18 months but the Loom Loft team were all unified to develop the opportunity at Preston when it came about.
“It’s a perfect fit for our business development in another great Lancashire location. We are excited to showcase our unique style and look forward to recruiting and shaping a dynamic team.”
The new store will also feature the Loft Bistro which will feature a diverse menu.
Ahead of opening in spring 2024, Loom Loft are looking for new members of staff for positions such as store manager, retails assistants and a head chef.
The store will be located on a new development site at Port Way/Channel Way near Preston Marina/Docks, shared with Aldi and will have 243 car parking spaces.
The site was previously The Trident building and was home to Netflights.com part of the Gold
Medal Travel Group.
The new store and Loft Bistro will be open seven days a week from 9am to 6pm Monday-Saturday and 10am-4pm on Sunday.
