Police are appealing to identify the body of a man found in a field at Rivington.
Chorley Police were called to the field in Dean Brook near to Horrobin Lane around 2.50pm on Thursday (7 December) and the body of a 40 to 50-year-old man was discovered.
A picture of the watch he was wearing has been released as police are not able to identify him.

He has a dark goatee-style beard, cropped dark but slightly greying hair and is of medium to large build.
The man was wearing a green ‘Foxy’ jacket, black ‘Slazenger’ tracksuit bottoms, a white and grey ‘Soulcal & Co t-shirt’ and green coloured wellies.
His distinctive orange coloured Casio digital watch was also on him.
A police spokesperson said: “Despite our best efforts we have yet to identify the man and we are asking for anyone who knows who it might be to get in touch.
“There is no connection to the ongoing search for missing Brian Blakeman near Skelmersdale.”
