After The Flags and Bands centres on the lives of four women during the First World War

Two nights of live performances are coming to the Mobile Event Tent as it continues on the Adelphi Square at the city’s university.

Preston Drama Club perform After The Flags and Bands on Friday (22 September).

The show performed as one act follows the stories of four women between 1914 and 1918 and explores their friendships after they met as the soldiers were leaving.

The show is on at 7pm, tickets are £4 and available from Eventbrite.

And on Saturday (23 September) then Preston’s singer-songwriter talent joins forces for The Best of The Best night.

The Best of The Best brings together songwriters from across the city

Liam Green, Matthew Richards, Aaron McMullan and Millicent Weaver bring their tunes and shows to the MET.

Show starts from 7.30pm and tickets are £4 from Eventbrite.
