Male seen brandishing machete as children arrive at Holme Slack school gates

A male has been seen ‘brandishing a machete’ outside Holme Slack Community Primary School.

Police are investigating the incident, which occurred in Manor House Lane at around 8.50am today (Tuesday 21 September).

A spokesperson for Preston PoliceĀ said: “We are led to believe that a male was seen brandishing a machete outside the school gates as the children were turning up for school.

“We are appealing for any information regarding this incident, in particular anybody that may have been in the area at that time and witnessed anything suspicious, or if you have any CCTV or dash cam footage then please get in touch.”
