The Longridge and North Preston Rotary are holding their sixth charity cycling sportive for local causes.
AdvertisementLast year the rotary raised £3,000 for Prostate Cancer Research and hope to hold another successful event.
Bookings are now open for the event, which has an entry fee of £20 and takes place on Sunday 24 July.

Participants have a choice of three routes – 44 miles, 100k and 100 miles, all of which start at Longridge Civic Hall.
After 25 miles the shortest route makes its way back to Longridge. The 100k and 100-mile routes continue past Gisburn Forest and Stocks Reservoir into North Yorkshire to Keasden.
The 100-mile route continues through Clapham and Ingleton then over the fell and into Cumbria to Dent.

Participants can decide on the day which would route they would like to undertake.
