Drug drivers stopped in Preston

Preston Police have taken to social media to share details of drug drivers who have been caught in the city.

On Sunday (15 May) a Mitsubishi was stopped in Leighton Street, near to the University of Central Lancashire.

Officers suspected the driver was under the influence of cannabis, and the driver subsequently failed a drug test.

On Wednesday (11 May), a patrol car was following the police van to custody with the previous job when officers saw a VW Caddy driving erratically in Ribbleton Lane.

The driver tested positive for cocaine and was arrested.
