Police are appealing for help to find a female who was seen assaulting her baby in a Leyland street.
The incident happened in Moss Lane today (Monday 4 April) at 11.35am.
A concerned member of the public rang police, but the female had gone by the time officers arrived. House to house enquiries and CCTV didn’t bring any leads.

The female is described as white and 5ft 6in tall with long brown hair. She was wearing a burgundy coat with a grey tracksuit underneath.
The baby was approximately two-years-old, wearing a white hat, and in a dark coloured pram with a rain cover.

The witness thinks they may have walked down Chapel Brow.
A spokesperson for South Ribble Police said: “If anyone has any knowledge about this incident or perhaps the description of the female has struck a chord with someone, please ring 101 quoting Log 20220404-0434.”
