Driver’s last ditch attempt to make M6 junction near Preston ends with car written off

A driver’s last ditch attempt to not miss a motorway junction has ended with their car being written off.

The car landed in a patch of grass between barriers on the M6.

Fortunately there were no injuries.

The driver was reported for Due Care.

A spokesperson for Lancs Road Police said on Twitter: “If you think you’re about to miss your exit? Don’t make a last ditch attempt for it like this driver did at Preston M6 who ended up landing in the grass between the barriers.”
