A Preston animal rescue running low on tinned pet food has issued a public appeal for supplies.
The non-profit Preston Hedgehog Rescue Ltd and Preston Bird Rescue have asked for non-fish tinned dog and cat food donations, with all brands acceptable apart from Tesco.
Ran by Kirsty, Mark and a small army of volunteers, the rescue helps local hedgehog populations and is attempting to halt the extinction of the British native species.
