Final year Fashion Promotion students at the University of Central Lancashire (UCLan) are hosting a charitable fashion show to raise money for Papyrus (Prevention of Young Suicide).
The show is called ‘RESET’ and will take place on Thursday, December 2.
It is the first fashion show final year students have been able to host since the start of the pandemic, so organisers wanted to focus on the ‘new normal’ as the theme as the pandemic has made many re-evaluate what is meaningful.
RESET will embrace the idea of a ‘blank canvas.’
Alongside the fashion show itself, students are also working with a number of local businesses, graduate artists and craftspeople to host a pop-up shop throughout the evening to encouraging attendees to shop local this Christmas.
All RESET tickets include a complimentary drink upon arrival and access to the pop-up shop.
There will also be a raffle on the evening of the event featuring prizes kindly donated from the likes of The Body Shop, Costa Coffee, JD, and a number of Preston-based small businesses – there is plenty to be won, all in aid of charity.
Tickets are just £5 and are available via Eventbrite.
