Longton Post Office has this month opened a new location on Liverpool Road.

Located at SPAR, 58-62 Liverpool Road, Longton, Preston, main UK bank customers can still access their accounts at the new branch.

The services, run by the same operator, include bill payment, cash withdrawals and foreign currency, postage, home shopping collections and returns.

After significant work at the premises, two doors down to the previous Post Office, the new branch opened on 8 October.

Extra space has been added to incorporate a Post Office and increased retail range under one roof.

Services are provided from two serving points as part of the retail counter of the convenience store, with a wide range of products and services still available.

There is also roadside parking nearby for convenience.

The Post Office opening hours have remained the same, Monday to Friday, 8.30am to 5.30pm, and Saturday 9am to 12.30pm.
