Electricity North West took to social media to alert residents that there had been a high number of calls reporting a power cut in Fulwood, Preston.Advertisement
The power cut is currently affecting almost 700 properties, and engineers have been dispatched.

A spokesperson for Electricity North West said: “We received reports of a power cut in Fulwood at 2:57pm affecting 696 properties due to a fault with the overhead power network.
“We responded immediately and remotely restored power to 624 properties within 20 minutes. Engineers are now heading to site and aim to restore power to the remaining 72 properties as quickly and as safely as possible.
