A Preston architect has joined Lord Blunkett on the Leaders Council podcast to discuss the government’s build back better scheme.
David Cox from David Cox Architects was invited onto an episode, which touched on the significance of construction to economic recovery and the lessons learned due to the challenges over the last 14 months.
Host, Scott Challinor, said: “Hosting a show like this, where you speak to genuine leaders who have been there and done it, either on a national stage or within a crucial industry sector, is an absolute honour.”
After an interview with Lord Blunkett, Scott asked both guests about leadership and its role in their careers.

The Leaders Council of Great Britain and Northern Ireland is in the process of talking to leading figures across the nation to understand this universal trait and what it means in Britain and Northern Ireland today.
Lord Blunkett, chairman of The Leaders Council of Great Britain and Northern Ireland, said: “I think the most informative element of each episode is the first part.
“Scott Challinor can sit down with someone who gets how their industry works and knows how to make their organisation tick. Someone who is there day in day out, working hard and inspiring others. That’s what leadership is all about.”
