Kinder surprise for police as class A drugs found in toy egg in Broadgate

Kinder Surprise Egg was found filled with drugs

After interrupting a drug deal in Broadgate, police searched a male and found a Kinder Surprise Egg full of class A drugs.


The Preston Neighbourhood Police team had been on high visibility patrol in the area this evening (Tuesday 4 May).

A male attempted to make off after police broke up the drug deal taking place in Hartington Road, but he was detained a short time later in Marsh Lane.

A spokesperson for Preston Police said: “Following a search, the male was found in possession of a mobile phone, cash and a Kinder egg full of class A drugs. He is currently in the cells at Preston custody awaiting interview.”
