Kim Almond and Zach Douglas spoke on BBC Lancashire this morning after they rescued four people from a fierce blaze that took place in Leyland overnight.
Kim said she and her friend both had hospital treatment for smoke inhalation but are both glad that everyone they managed to get out their houses in the early hours of this morning are ok.

Kim told BBC Radio Lancashire: “We just instantly wanted to get people out, everyone was sleeping, we was banging on doors, pushing through doors, climbing fences, we managed to get a total of four people out and they thanked us.
“It was hard and terrifying. the fire I’ve never seen anything like it and after 20 minutes of being in the smoke ourselves we got them out so they’re all ok. The fire and police were amazing they were really responsive.”
Eight fire engines attended the alight commercial property at 12:22am as fire crews worked to contain a fire above a row of shops in Leyland town centre overnight.
