The young mum of three-year-old Ellen had no serious health conditions, and her passing has come as a shock to grieving friends and family as they paid tribute to the ‘incredible mum’.

Miss Bleasdale had been admitted to hospital a week prior, (March 26), as she had collapsed in her Broughton home, however was discharged soon after.

Friends of Miss Bleasdale remain shocked by her passing as they say the 39-year-old had ‘no health conditions’.

She had also recently lost three stone after enduring the 10k-a-day fitness challenge where she proudly managed to raise £300 for St Catherine’s Hospice.

Nathan Hardaker, the father of Miss Bleasdale’s young daughter Ellen, told LancsLive they had remained close friends after they separated.

He said: “She was absolutely devoted to her baby girl and she made Ellen the wonderful daughter that she is.”

Blog Preston co-editor, Rachel Smith, had been friends with Emma for 20 years.

She paid tribute to her close friend as she said: “I just can’t make sense of this. Emma was so full of life. She filled a room with her massive laugh and wry wit.

“She was so sweet with my boys. She was definitely one of a kind and leaves a massive hole in Preston. She’ll be missed by many. “

Another of Miss Bleasdale’s closest companions, Kimberley Winward, told LancsLive of the shock she felt over her decade-long friend’s passing.

Kimberly said about her friend: “She had no health conditions or anything so this was all a shock. She had actually been on a get fit for 40 campaign and been running 10k every day and lost over three stone so it makes no sense.

“She was an incredible lady, so smart, a fantastic mother and so caring and thoughtful.”
