Preston bars, restaurants and cafes granted new or renewed pavement licences

As lockdown is easing slightly during Monday (12 April), a number of Preston businesses have been granted new pavement licences so they can resume operating.

The pavement licence will allow the businesses to have tables outside to serve customers.

Below is a list of places that are able to open under the new rules and have a new or renewed pavement licence from Preston City Council:

  • Black a Moor Head – Lancaster Rd – New licence
  • Subway Fishergate – New licence
  • Wings and Beer Cannon Street – New licence
  • Iceburg, Miller Arcade, Jacson Street – New licence
  • Taste of Turkey, Shepherd Street- New licence
  • Baluga Bar, Miller Arcade – Renew existing area and new extended area
  • Stanley Arms, Lancaster Road – Renewed licence
  • Harry’s Bar Church Street – Renewed licence
  • Heavenly Desserts, Miller Arcade – Renewed licence
  • Agreed extended area to Turtle Bay on Cheapside

A number of businesses in the city have existing licenses including the Adelphi, Starbucks, Yates, Bistrot Pierre, and the Twelve Tellers.
